“I first went to Dr. Rubin 3 years ago from a friend’s referral after my Optometrist wouldn’t (= “he was booked”) take my appointment/follow-up after an ER visit for an eye injury that could have significantly impaired my vision. He was/is wonderful! I recently went in for my annual visit, and had another great experience. Due to moving around the country, I have had several eye doctors, and even worked in an Optometry office during college. From my experience, Dr. Rubin is the best! He listens to your history, doesn’t push products you don’t need, and takes the time to make sure that you really need a prescription change. I ask a LOT of questions, and he took the time to answer them. Had I been seeing him all along and receiving his advice/information on eye care for my very dry/allergy eyes, I don’t think I would’ve ended up in the ER in the first place.”
